Splendid Hotel & Spa Nice

Quirky and ideal hotel located in a residential area just off Blue Beach, and sea. Beautifully maintained room plus with a king bed. Very central location of the property, pretty friendly and supper friendly staff on reception desk. The rooftop restaurant for evening meals.

I had booked the de luxe room and it was really worth the money! The room was very large and comfortable. The staff was also vey polite and heloful.

The reception staff were very helpful, the room was comfortable and rooftop sunbathing in October was welcome.

One particular member of bar staff was surly and obstructive.

The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. Room was tidy and clean, with good facilities (coffee, ironing). It was good to have jalousie, you can sleep til midday :)

There was no free internet access. Parking-lot is extremely small and quite expensive.The interior needs an update. Bubble bath was not working. The swimming-pool was a little bit disappointing.

Rooftop offers great views.

The shower barely worked, providing only scalding hot water. I reported this issue multiple times, but no one came to address the problem. Upon checkout, they didn't believe I had.

We liked everything about this Hotel . It was comfortable , a good location , good food and lovely staff . We would definately stay there when next in Nice .

We found very good: the bedroom (category luxury) with the big bathroom, the balcony, the jacuzzi; the pool.

A major upgrade is a must!!! Inconsistencies in room quality could be a dealbreaker for many guests!!!

Great location - near the beach but not at on-the-beach prices. Very clean and comfortable.

Limited on-site parking, but they pack the cars in. It took us an hour to get the staff to move 2 cars so we could leave!

Pool was great and location was very convenient.

The staff were friendly

This hotel is very tired, it needs a major update. There was no proper shower in the bathroom , the tiles needed replacing, the toilet seat had rubbers that were perished. there were only 2 very small lifts to service the whole hotel. This became a major problem when one of them broke down just as a party of American teenagers arrived. We were kept up all night by noisy teenagers running around our floor. The hotel, although they were apologetic about the teenagers seemed unable to do anything about them. The hotel did not seem to take the complaint we made about the noise at all seriously and we will not be staying there ever again.

The location is perfect, just a short walk to the old town and close to the beach. The rooftop pool felt luxurious, and it was nice to relax with a drink while enjoying the views. The staff were attentive, made a big difference. I felt welcome the entire time. My room was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely balcony to enjoy the sun. The air conditioning wasn't efficient. It took too long to cool down the room. I noticed the breakfast options seemed pricey, and the quality didn't match the cost. It lacked variety and fresh ingredients. I felt they could improve this area significantly. The shower was a bit awkward with no curtain, hard to avoid getting the bathroom floor wet. Despite these issues, the stay was generally pleasant. I would certainly consider returning for the great location and friendly staff.

We have stayed at the hotel a number of time and was upgraded to a suite for the night which was lovely. Athough the safe in the room did not work we were provided with one in a lock room downstairs with no trouble.

It has amazing location for visiting an enormous shopping mall. 100 feet are distance to the restaurant...
